Dave West is an amazing writer, artist, and co-founder of the comic company Accent UK! He’s also wrote our favorite comic of the year – Whatever Happened to the World’s Fastest Man! And besides all that, he is our show’s BFF. Dave has been nothing but kind and gracious to us since day one, and so we are extremely delighted to be able to interview him!
We talk about how Dave got involved in comics and started Accent UK, Eleanor Rigby, wives that don’t like comics, our anthology that we’re working on (that Dave is really helping us out with), his art, comic availability in the UK, conventions, and more! We also reveal how Dave has been helping us on our comic!!!

We love Dave, and we TRIED not to kiss his ass too much during this interview. But honestly – the guy is extremely talented and bloody brilliant.

After the interview, we are joined by uber-relgious Mark, and we all talk about the Boom Studios vs. Diamond distribution controversy, and then share our Top 3…. which turns us into simpering softies and makes us talk about comics that made us cry. Then things get dark, as Spence talks about abusive fathers, and we all talk about “prison prom”, Beantown, and Spence and Ryan argue about the art in Lone Wolf And Cub! Dark times… but then we get treats! Spence’s cool wife Heidi and awesome daughter brought us delicious deserts! Hooray!
